The scheme that provides cash compensation will begin in 2023
It will be for a period of three months
Employees can claim it in the event of job loss beyond their control
The insurance scheme is divided into two categories
The first is for those with a basic salary of AED16,000 and less
The second category is for those with a basic salary exceeding AED 16,000
Employees working on a commission basis can also avail of the scheme
The value of the insurance policy is subject to Value-added tax (VAT)
The monthly compensation for the first category will be within AED 10,000
For the second category, it will be within AED 20,000
