Tata As Indian consumers move up to more sophisticated varieties of the beverage, Starbucks Private Limited announced the opening of its more upscale coffee format Starbucks Reserve in Mumbai’s Fort area.
The action is a “testimony”, the local branch of the American coffee chain stated in a statement to Starbucks’ long-term commitment to improve the coffee experience in one of the brand’s key growth markets globally.
Small-lot single-origin coffees, including Bolivia Sol de la Maana, Rwanda Sholi, and Sumatra Kerinci, will be sold in the shop and brewed and served by Starbucks “black apron” baristas espresso experts. These individuals are essentially skilled coffee experts who use techniques like syphon brewing and nitro-cold brewing to bring out the complexity of each beverage’s flavour profile.
