Dubai witnessed the first successful test flight of the X2 flying car. It is sure that, when it comes to smart mobility, flying cars will draw the world’s attention. This two-seater flying car weighs only 560 kilos. Its take-off weight is 760 kilograms. It can travel at a speed of 130 kilometres per hour. Initially, 35 minutes will get in a single flight.

It is the intelligent flight control system that helps these flying cars take off and land safely. The flying car models, including X2, are designed in a way to fly low in cities and thus integrate with public transport. Another reason for its popularity would be zero carbon emissions.

It is possible that Dubai will become a gateway for the commercial use of flying cars. Because Dubai gives much importance to smart mobility tech like this and invests heavily in it.
