Here are the specifications of Tata Tiago, India’s most affordable electric car

India’s most-affordable electric car is here!

The Tata Tiago was launched on September 28, 2022. The cheapest electric car offers a range of 300 km on a full charge. The price range falls between Rs 8.49 lakh and Rs 11.79 lakhs.

Tata Tiago has two lithium-ion non detachable battery options – 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh. For the 19.2 kWh, there will be a 3.3 kW AC fast charger option. For the 24 kWh, there will be two charging options – 3.3kW and 7.2kW. The 19.2kWh has XE AND XT variants, and the 24kWh has XT, XZ+ AND XZ+TECH LUX variants.

The variant with a battery capacity of 19.2kWh will give a range of 250 km on a single charge. The one with a 24kWh battery will provide a range of 315 km on a single charge. The charging time for a 7.2 kW charger is 3.5 hrs AC. There is also an option for DC charging wherein 80% will be charged in 57 minutes.

The car with Ziptron technology is waterproof and dustproof. It has Neutral, Drive, Back, and Sports gear. The electric car comes with eight years of warranty, eight speakers and a Harman Infotainment system. It also offers plush leather seats, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, and cruise control.
