2. Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco)
Saudi Aramco, which is based out of Saudi Arabia, holds the second position. The oil company with a market cap of $2.17 trillion is also one of the largest firms in the world in terms of revenue. It is also the world’s largest oil producer per day.
3. Microsoft
Third comes Microsoft with a market cap of $1.94 trillion. Established by Bill Gates and Paul Allen in 1975, Microsoft is well-known for its Windows line of OS, MS Office suite, Edge web browsers, and Internet Explorer.
4. Alphabet
Alphabet Inc, the parent company of Google comes in the fourth position with a market cap of $1.43 trillion. Headquartered in California, Alphabet is also the third-largest technology company in the world by revenue.
5. Amazon
The world’s most-valued brand, Amazon’s market cap is at $1.30 trillion. Amazon’s principal offerings include cloud computing, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, and digital streaming services.
6. Tesla
Elon Musk’s Tesla appears in the sixth position. US-based Tesla’s market cap is $862.24 billion. Tesla is known for its electric cars, trucks and battery energy solutions. Its subsidiary company Tesla Energy develops and installs photovoltaic systems in the United States.
7. Berkshire Hathaway
The American multinational conglomerate based in Omaha, Nebraska, has a market cap of $622.88 billion. As per the Forbes Global 2000 list, Berkshire Hathaway is the world’s eighth largest public company. It is also the largest financial services company in terms of revenue.
8. United Health Group
The US-based United Health Group’s market cap is $490.14 billion. It offers a range of health insurance and health care products and services. It is the biggest insurance provider when it comes to net premiums.
9. Meta
Meta, formerly known as Facebook Inc, has a market cap of $444.41 billion. The tech firm has acquired more than 91 companies such as WhatsApp. Most of those companies are located in the San Francisco Bay area.
10. Johnson & Johnson
Established in 1886, Johnson & Johnson’s market cap is $434.70 billion. It is a leader in consumer packaged goods, medical devices and pharmaceuticals and is ranked 36 on the Fortune 500 list which includes the largest corporations in the US in terms of revenue.
