Good news for Starbucks lovers! The brand is all set to create a similar experience across stores through its programme called ‘Starbucks Connect.’ Currently, the company offers ‘inconsistent experience’ across locations. As part of the new initiative, you will get all perks of standalone Starbucks outlets when you visit licensed stores in airports, Kroger, and other retailers.
The chain is also extending reward and mobile ordering to licensed stores. The announcement was made by Chief Marketing Officer Brady Brewer at Starbucks Investor Day, held on September 13 in Seattle.
For Starbucks, rewards and mobile ordering were key sources of growth during the pandemic period. In the fast food business, Starbucks has one of the most successful rewards memberships programmes. As of now, the programme has 27.4 million members. The members contributed to over half of Starbucks’ sales last quarter.
In North America, the brand has 7,000 licensed stores. Of them, about 1,400 have already adopted the Starbucks Connect programme. The brand is yet to confirm when the change would happen.
