India to roll out Hydrogen-powered train on Aug 15, 2023

India will unveil a hydrogen-powered train on August 15, 2023

It will be designed, developed and manufactured in India

The world’s first hydrogen-powered train was introduced last month in Germany

Hydrogen is an environment-friendly fuel

Lately, India had launched an indigenously-developed Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus in Pune

It was developed by KPIT and CSIR 

The hydrogen-powered train will strengthen India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative
