Adani Wilmar plans to introduce a kit under the Kohinoor brand this fiscal year, bringing a new DIY biryani brand to nearby markets. At the moment, ready-to-eat biryani options on the market include Daawat Biryani Kit, Al-Barkat Chicken Biryani, Gits, Indian Kitchen Foods gluten-free veg, 24 Mantra organic, Tata Q, among others.
Before Adani Wilmar bought Kohinoor, it also sold a ready-to-cook biryani kit.The business wants to increase its selection of ready-to-cook foods by leveraging its recent acquisition of Kohinoor in May of this year. Although Adani Wilmar already sells ready-to-cook khichdis, it now wants to diversify its product offering by emphasising other rice-based foods including Mexican rice, Thai rice, fried rice, and other comparable things. The corporation hasn’t decided whether these will fall under the Fortune Brand or the Kohinoor Brand.
This fiscal year, only one or two of these products would be introduced; the rest would soon follow.
