Germany is planning to change its immigration law. The country foresees a shortage of about 2,40,000 skilled workers by 2026. To avoid that, the EU nation is simplifying its immigration system. The plan is to attract more foreign skilled workers. As part of the new rule, Germany would offer dual citizenship and special citizenship status. This will be valid for three to five years. The nation looks forward to having both academic and vocational skills.
