The Department of Consumer Affairs (DoCA), Mininstry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (MoCAFPD) has announced the development of “technology for processing, storage and utilization of primary onions” as part of the “Grand Challenge for Onion Storage” .
Stage 1
Brainstorming up to the PoC phase
Prize money Rs.25000 up to 40 teams Development cost up to Rs.75000 per team
Duration: 3-4 months
Stage 2
PoC to product development stage
Prize money Rs.50000 up to 20 teams Development cost up to Rs.5 Rough per team
Stage 3
Field implementation
One winner and the two or four runners-up will be selected in each field and will be supported depending on the field deployment of the solution.
