Adani Group acquired a 29.18% stake in television broadcaster NDTV Ltd and made an open offer to buy another stake, according to a request from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and  announced that it will  acquire 26% more stakes of the company. Adani Group, announced this year that it would acquire a 49% stake in BloombergQuint, a Digital news provider, is looking to further expand its media investments with NDTV’s stake under its umbrella. In a statement to the stock exchange, NDTV said the acquisition was completed without the involvement, discussion or approval of NDTV founders Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy. The two still hold 32.26% of NDTV.
