Zomato-backed logistics platform Shiprocket joined unicorn club after raising ₹260 crore. In a funding round co-led by Temasek and Lightrock India. Shiprocket was valued at around $1.2 billion with the fresh round of funding. It will help Shiprocket extend its operating system by building newer software and intelligence products. Along with deepening its capability on the fulfilment and same-day delivery experience. Launched in 2017, Shiprocket delivers packets to more than 66 million consumers annually.
