EV firm Komaki introduced fireproof batteries in India. The lithium-ion ferro phosphate batteries will be available from next month. Its cells contain iron, making the batteries safe from fire. A mobile app will notify about the battery health. Recent fires in electric two-wheelers have brought down the sales. The fire-resistant battery might be able to remove that fear. This will establish Komaki as a trusted brand in the EV market.
