India’s startup ecosystem faces more layoffs. This time agritech startup DeHaat fired employees. That too after securing $115 million less than a year ago. That was the largest funding round for an Indian agritech startup. Reports say that 500 people were sacked. But, DeHaat says the number is not in the triple digits. It was a corrective measure around performance, says DeHaat. DeHaat has over 2,000 employees. It offers end-to-end agricultural services to farmers.
