Ola Electric introduces NMC 2170. India’s first indigenously developed lithium-ion cell. The cell is suitable for indigenous conditions. It uses specific chemistry and materials. Thus, it can pack more energy in a given space. The tech also improves the cell’s overall cycle. The cell’s mass production will begin in 2023. It will be from its Chennai-based Gigafactory.
