The third edition of the She Power Summit discussed the changes and possibilities the Covid-19 pandemic brought into women’s lives. 

The theme of the summit was ‘She Speaks Power.’  

Sujata Madhav Chandran of Tata Consultancy, Jyothi Ramaswamy, India’s Padwoman Anju Bisht, celebrity stylist Ambika Pillai, and social entrepreneur Lakshmi Menon spoke on the occasion. 
 

Sujatha Madhav Chandran shared that technology is never gender-centric and that the lack of hygiene facilities in the workplace and the need to use technology for safety, including when traveling.

 

Anju Bisht, who made reusable sanitary pads for women, and Lakshmi Menon, who actualised the concept of a safe and clean toilet for travelling women, attended the panel discussion.

 

In the ‘My Story‘ session, entrepreneur Geetha Salesh explained her business that brings curcumin, which is made from turmeric, to the market. 

 

Payeli Ghosh, the co-founder of JIFFY.Ai, talked about the ways to start a business and successfully take it forward. The session that discussed different phases of pre-business planning such as frustration, idea bank, opportunity spotting, business model, and plan captured everyone’s attention.

Jyothi Ramaswamy, a cyber security specialist at TCS, talked about the need to emphasise cyber security.

The She Power 3.0 was organised as part of KSUM’s Kerala Innovation Week at Kalamassery Integrated Startup Complex, Kochi. The programme was conducted by Channeliam.com, India’s first digital video media platform for startups and entrepreneurs. This was the third edition of She Power.
