Get Ready For Rural-Agritech Hackathon
The second edition of the Rural India Business Conclave will take place on June 9 and 10 at Wintouch Palm Meadows, Kasaragod. As part of it, a Rural-Agritech Hackathon is also being held. Applications are invited for the Hackathon that aims to solve problems in the rural sector.
Winners will get a 50k cash prize. It is also an opportunity for startups or innovators to pitch for a 15 lakh innovation grant and incubation support from KSUM. Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre, TinkerHub, Kasaracode, and Calicut Digital Academy are the organising partners of the event.
Problem statements for the hackathon are:
- Application of Robotics in grafting
- Detect aberration for the standard value of fat content in solid food products
- Detection of appropriate tempering of chocolate
- Detection of maturity of coconut, preferably from the ground
- Regulating drip irrigation based on daily weather and soil conditions and locating the blockage in drippers
- An exclusive platform to map and explore the local tourism destinations, regional cultural and art forms and locally made products.
