Bollywood actor Katrina kaif’s makeup brand Kay Beauty is expanding its presence to over 100 General Trade beauty stores and leading modern trade across India. Kay Beauty, which was launched in 2019 in partnership with Nykaa, has been receiving feedback for its high-performing, internationally-sourced formulations.
As part of the first phase of expansion, the brand found a place in beauty stores across Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Lucknow, and Pune. This will ensure its market presence in the North, South, and West regions.
According to Katrina Kaif, co-founder of Kay Beauty, her vision is to create a diverse and inclusive brand that caters to Indian requirements. She said the expansion will deepen the brand’s engagement with customers.
Meanwhile, Reena Chhabra, CEO of Nykaa Brands, said that Kay Beauty, one of the top makeup brands on Nykaa, has shown impressive growth. Physical interaction with makeup is crucial for customers even today. The expansion will help Kay Beauty achieve that, she commented. Kay Beauty’s expansive portfolio includes 220 SKUs.
