It is often said that “the best bridge between despair and hope is a good night’s sleep.” Sleep is the most important aspect of a healthy life. A good night’s sleep is inevitable for optimum health. Studies show that sleep deprivation leads to various physical as well as mental health issues like high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, anxiety and depression. To tackle this, medical practitioners across the globe have been trying to raise awareness of the importance of good sleep through various programmes.
A recent survey indicated that India ranks second in the category of ‘most sleep-deprived’ with an average sleep time of 7 hrs 2 minutes while Japan tops the list with an average of 6 hrs45 minutes.
Everybody knows that comfortable mattresses play an indispensable role in proper rest. A good mattress provides the body with a comfortable posture keeping the spine in a neutral position, which adds to the sound sleep. Reports suggest that the global Mattress market size is estimated to grow to $39,820 million in 2022. It is expected to reach $55.850 million by 2028, with a CAGR of 5.8 per cent.
