Nissan’s 1st electric vehicle to come in 2028
Nissan has unveiled its first prototype production facility for all-solid-state battery cells
It aims to launch an EV with all solid-state batteries by fiscal 2028
The prototype facility is aimed to promote the development of all-solid-state-batteries
These batteries will place EVs at the same cost level as gasoline-powered vehicles
They have an energy density approximately twice that of conventional lithium-ion batteries
Due to superior charge/discharge performance, the charging time will be shorter
Nissan expects to use all-solid-state batteries in a wide range of vehicle segments
