Secret to boAt Becoming a Movement | Aman Gupta

Lets see What’s the secret to boAt’s success?

How did a small Indian startup become a movement that beat big companies?

How did India’s boAt become the fifth largest wearable brand in the world?

There was a time when only foreign speakers and earphones were considered quality products. Lifestyle accessories brand boAt is the company that broke these misconceptions. Today, boAt is the leading player in the field of audio electronics products in India and internationally.

In 2016, Aman Gupta, with Sameer Mehta, set up boAt in Gurugram. Aman Gupta left his  corporate life after working as a sales director at Harman, for two years. Aman was interested in music and technology. He wanted to create a company to bring high quality audio products to the Indian market. Within five years of starting the small company in Aman Gupta’s garage, boAt has become one of India’s leading suppliers of wireless speakers and earphones.

boAt’s journey from a small startup to India’s leading audio electronics company has not been easy. In the early days, it was very difficult for boAt to gain a foothold in the market. The company even worked to find investors in areas dominated by German, Japanese, American and Chinese companies. In the first year, it overcame the crisis with sales of Rs 31 crore and a profit of Rs 1.67 crore. With the introduction of a series of new products and the ability to market itself through a strong social media presence, boAt began to see success as a brand.

Today, boAt is one of the most popular brands in India in terms of wireless audio devices.Their innovative products and marketing strategy have been able to capture a large share of the Indian market. The company is focused on creating high quality audio products for the Indian market. The products include a wide range of audio products, including wireless earphones, speakers and headphones. boAt used Social media to create a buzz around products and reach potential customers. Indian users are now becoming fans of boAt. Aman Gupta says boAt’s journey as a lifestyle brand has only just begun. There is still a long way to go with many innovative products.
