Industrialist Anand Mahindra was effusive in his praises for a young boy’s fishing technique. He uploaded a clip of a young boy catching fish in his official Twitter account on 1 April, and wrote that the boy’s actions proves that determination, ingenuity and patience can lead to one’s success. The video depicts a young boy catching fish from a river with the help of a two-legged pulley stand. He ties bait to one end of the fishing rope, throws it into the water, and patiently waits. When the pulley begins to move, and the boy leaps into action, pulling the rope with all his power.
The video shared by Mahindra has now gathered more than 1.2 million views and thousands of likes. Netizens from across the country shared their appreciation for the video and applauded the lesson behind the 2-minute clip of the little boy fishing.
