The challenge was spearheaded by Reflections Info Systems, part of McLaren Strategic Ventures which was founded by the Former CEO of UST GLOBAL Mr Sajan Pillai. The 5-month long programme was curated and managed by Bloombloom and its offline platform B-HUB. The programme was organized in collaboration with ASAP, Kerala Startup Mission, IEDC, Technopark Today and Start to Scale.
Apart from the prize money, the winners of the challenge were offered a 2X package (X-times of a standard fresher opportunity), and Reflections shall be incubating and funding their idea and creating their micro startups within the organization with mentorships from their customers, community as well as the company. The students received the support of mentors from Google Automotive, Reflections, Bloombloom and the Ecosystem throughout the prototype development phase.

Winners will receive mentorship and financial assistance as the next phase of the challenge is an Incubation Programme. The challenge was to build prototypes of diagnostic systems that would enable the self-diagnosis of vehicles. The mega challenge lasted for 5 months with more than 5,000 participants, with over 186 teams and individuals participating from various academies in South India.
More than a dozen great ideas were prototyped and exchanged in the final endeavour. This programme brought to life a successful example of a one-of-its-kind customer-company-community collaboration programme with great outcomes.
