North India’s first space center was inaugurated in Jammu
“Satish Dhawan Center for Space Sciences” was inaugurated by space minister Jitendra Singh at Central University of Jammu
It is India’s 2nd space training institute after IIST of Thiruvananthapuram
The upcoming space institute is being set up by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Central University of Jammu.
60 students will be taken in the course of BTech in “Aviation & Aeronautics”
The selection criteria will be through IIT-JEE
