Aiming for more exposure to the startups in the state, Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is expanding its wings by associating with national and global partners. KSUM has signed MoUs with eight partners, including the national and international ones. This will provide an exposure for startups in the state.
KSUM has partnered with Open FinTech Accelerator and will launch an OPEN Innovation Hub. The programme will be coordinated and implemented by OPEN through KSUM and their other partners in the FINTECH space. This partnership focuses on supporting the FINTECH enterprises with a goal to mitigate the risk that startups face by providing mentorship, creating a holistic ecosystem for encouraging innovation, R&D and entrepreneurship in the FINTECH sector and enabling creation of Intellectual property within Kerala for maximizing domestic value add and reduce external dependence.
NASSCOM 10000 Startups
KSUM and NASSCOM are collaborating to strengthen and enhance the existing Kerala startup ecosystem through a virtual acceleration programme.
Habitat
KSUM is entering a pact with Habitat for Humanity International to mutually support in creating a vibrant ecosystem for innovators, startups, entrepreneurs working in the Affordable Housing domain focusing on housing technology, sustainability and allied services for improved shelter.
Japanese External Trade Organization (JETRO)
An MoU has been signed between JETRO Chennai and KSUM to work jointly to harness and enhance collaborative initiatives to promote Start-ups in the field of emerging technologies.
Carve Startup Labs
KSUM and Carve Startup Labs are joining hands to support Kerala startups connecting with the different startup ecosystems across the globe. CSL will also be an international market connect and outreach partner for KSUM and its startups which will help startups to scale in different countries.
Global Accelerator Network (GAN)
A deal has been made to make KSUM a member of Colorado-based Global Accelerator Network.This collaboration paves the way for Kerala startups to get connected to mentors, investors, industry leaders and accelerators across the globe.
GrowthX
KSUM is launching a joint Market Access Accelerator program with GrowthX. This programme will be a 4 months long cohort based, entirely focussed on helping startups execute proven strategic acquire customers and generate revenue.
Google for Startups Accelerator
Google for Startups Accelerators serve top growth-stage startups with tailored technical, product, and leadership training from Google servers. Each accelerator features a cohort of 10-15 top startups that come together to tackle specific technical challenges that can help grow their businesses through a mix of remote and in-person, 1-to-1, group learning sessions, and sprint projects.
Kerala Startup Mission has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with these eight partners to ensure that startups have connectivity, technical-leadership training and mentoring to the global market.
