139th session of IOC
India has won the bid to host the next International Olympic Committee IOC Session in 2023. This will be held at the 139th session of the IOC on the eve of Beijing Winter Olympics closure. Mumbai was elected as the host of the next (IOC) session to be held in 2023
IOC Member Mrs Nita Ambani led a compelling pitch to win this bid . Mrs Ambani has been an IOC Member since 2016. Her membership has enabled to bring valuable international experience to India’s efforts to engage with the Olympic Movement. India will host this prestigious meeting for the first time since 1983.
