Steadfast holders
Most crypto investors are steadfast holders, said a report by Deutsche Bank. High returns and portfolio diversification were common reasons for investing in cryptocurrency. Most crypto transactions are under $100, and only a small percentage believe crypto is a golden ticket, the report said.
The findings point to a broad bullishness for cryptocurrencies. Less than half of crypto investors surveyed would reduce or sell their crypto positions even if prices dropped by 80%. Meanwhile, nearly 50% said they have become so successful in crypto trading.
The crypto market surged in 2021 with bitcoin reaching an all-time high of $69,000 in November.
