Plastic Waste Management
Dabur has become a complete plastic waste neutral firm in the country. The firm achieved the landmark of surpassing its plastic packaging usage with recycling. It collected, processed and recycled around 27,000 metric tonnes of post-consumer plastic waste during FY 21-22.
Dabur had set the target of recycling over 22,000MT of post-consumer plastic waste. The collected plastic waste is to different Recyclers, Waste-to-Energy Plants and Cement Kilns
Dabur’s Plastic Waste Management initiative was rolled out in the year 2017-18. It will distribute cotton carry bags to replace plastic bags that are used in households.
