High-profile summit
The ‘Huddle Global’ Meet, one of the largest start-up conferences in Asia, provides an opportunity for startups to showcase their products and interact with leading figures in the technology sector. Techies and industry leaders will discuss ways forward for startups around the world after Pandemic. Huddle meet will take the initiative to ensure financial and technical support for startups to accelerate their growth. Huddle Global, organized by Kerala Start-up Mission, will be inaugurated on February 19 by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Industry and Law Minister P Rajeev will preside over the function. Huddle Global, India’s largest networking platform for entrepreneurs, is hosting a two-day virtual event. The meeting will be attended by world-renowned start-up founders, mentors, investors, industry leaders and government representatives.
Tech talks and a start-up demo will also be held. In addition to pitch sessions and mentoring sessions, a Start-up Expo of startups around the world and in Kerala will be organized under the leadership of over 30 mentors. On February 19, at 11 am, a workshop on “Buiding AR Lens with Snapchat will be organised by Lakshya Malu, Community Strategy and Partnership, Snapchat. A masterclass on How we (and you should) think about startup innovation will be taken by Dev Ramane, Head of Greenfield Startups-India, Aws.
Green Innovation Fund Accelerator
KSUM CEO John M. Thomas said that this edition of Huddle Global plans to examine the issues and opportunities of the startup ecosystem from a global perspective. The Kerala Startup Mission has announced that startups will sign MoUs with Google, Habitat, Jetro, Global Accelerator Network, Ihub Gujarat, Nasscom and CSL. Startup Mission is providing a platform for more than 2000 participants. Investors will have the opportunity to visit the Expo and interact with startups and also gets an opportunity to invest in emerging startups. Huddle Global also provides an opportunity to interact with top startups and understand and get acquainted with startups from other countries. KSUM has been organizing Huddle Meet since 2018 for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state. More than 5,000 startups across the country have already participated in the event.
Green Innovation Fund Accelerator is a program that empowers technology startups to build and scale products or services that deliver a sustainable social, economic and environmental impact. Technology startups can take advantage of the Green Innovation Fund to provide solutions to new climate and environmental changes.
Blockchain summit
A Blockchain Summit has been planned as part of the conference on the concluding day. KSUM is conducting the ‘Blockchain Innovation Challenge’ with a goal to establish promising blockchain startup concepts and assist them by offering a concept grant of Rs 2 lakh. The innovation grant is predicted to assist blockchain startups to develop their concepts into working prototypes.
