SHE POWER 2.0 provided an opportunity for entrepreneurs
The second edition of She Power, provided an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to acquire digital skills and emerge as a platform to address their doubts and concerns. What all digital skills do entrepreneurs need? Is Kerala a place for women entrepreneurs? Whether the venture would be successful if women started it alone, were few of the discussed topics.
Good participation for online-digital workshop
The second edition of She Power was held in Kochi, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram in collaboration with the US State Department to impart Digital Skills to Women Entrepreneurs, MSMEs, Startup Founders and Student Startups. The event, which happened both offline and online sessions, were attended by thousands of people. Tens of thousands of people watched the event live on platforms like Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
Discussions on funding, digital skills and government assistance
Manish Mohan, Gem Business Facilitator, explained about the Government e-Marketplace and how it can benefit women entrepreneurs. Manager P Sumi, Project Director PM Riyas and Head of Business Linkages & Incubation, Ashok Kurian explained about the Kerala Startup Mission’s Entrepreneurship Programmes and the need for more women entrepreneurs to come forward in various sessions. It has helped to instill confidence in many.
