The central government has introduced new policies on IT digital electronic innovation and product development. The mission of Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar’s Kerala visit was to equip innovation centres in the state to meet the centre’s policies. He held meetings with startup owners and stakeholders of electronics hardware development centres, including C-DAC. He keenly evaluated the electronic hardware and software products developed in C-DAC.
Self-sufficient innovation centres
India is becoming a trillion-dollar digital economy. India has become a role model for other nations in terms of creating more job opportunities and utilising technology. The nation has great potential in core technology areas such as AI, quantum computing, and cyber security. At the same time, India is aiming high in the development of strategic technology. Rajeev Chandrasekhar made it clear that the centre’s next agenda is to make innovation centres self-sufficient towards strategic technology.
Interactive session held
During his three-day Kerala trip, Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrasekhar inaugurated the new forensic lab and security operations centre. During the product demo with developers, entrepreneurs, students and business representatives, he spoke about the marketing possibilities involved with technology. He met with the DAAD startup, which developed a learning platform for deaf people.
Digital Forensic Kiosk, Underwater Drone launched
The minister dedicated the Digital Forensic Kiosk and Underwater Drone to the country. The event organised by C-DAC saw Rajeev Chandrasekhar interacting with its partners ASAP CMD Dr Usha Titus, Keltron CMD Dr Narayanamurthy, L & T, Aheesa, Blaize, Photonics Valley Corporation, SmartIOPS, NIC, and KSUM.
Executive Director Magesh E, Cyberforencis group director and Senior Director Satheesh G, Senior Director – Rajasree, and Associate Director Rajesh K R coordinated the event.
