Online travel platform Easemytrip has acquired business-to-business travel marketplace Traviate

This is EaseMyTrip’s first acquisition.

Traviate enables peer-to-peer transactions among hotels, online travel agencies and travel agents.

The company has over 1.2 million hotels listed on its platform.

Traviate claims that 70% of the hotel’s inventory is sold by B2B channels.

The acquisition would help EaseMyTrip scale up its hotel and holiday business.

EaseMyTrip  has a market cap of Rs 5,345 crore as of October 28.

It aims to further strengthen its B2B offerings with this acquisition.
