Google will soon launch its new data privacy section for Play Store apps.
A new “Data safety form” will be available on the Play Console for app developers.
App developers can fill out the relevant details.
The required information will be visible to users from February 2022.
It will be mandatory for developers to submit information by April 2022.
Google announced this new feature in May.
The data section will give consumers an overview of how apps use their data.
Developers will have to tell users what type of data their app collects like location, contacts etc.
