Gautam Adani-led Adani Group took over the responsibilities of the Jaipur International Airport.
The Indian government leased out the airport to the group for 50 years.
For the last two months, Adani group officials have been observing operations at the airport.
The Ahmedabad-based conglomerate had delayed the take over due to the COVID situation.
It had sought a six-month extension till December 2021.
The government gave three months to take over the management.
